Course Overview
This course will guide you through the expectations and components of case management. The case manager is the point person and key advocate for a student's individual learning plan or accommodation plan. Successful case management involves communicating and collaborating with all members of the ILP team, as well as ensuring the follow through of the ILP. We'll learn how to ensure that student voice in integrated throughout the whole process.

Meet the Facilitator
Kristin Moffitt
Kristin began her teaching career over 21 years ago in Minnesota public schools. After seven years of teaching in Emotional & Behavioral Disability programs, she moved internationally and put her training into practice within her roles in international schools.
Kristin has a Master’s Degree in Education and Educational Leadership, an advanced degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Her international career has included working at the American International School of Zagreb, International School Basel, and currently as the Head of Extended Learning Program at the Inter-Community School Zurich. In addition, she consults with Behaviour Solutions Lab, a platform and service that provides educators with tools to create positive behavior change in the classroom.
Kristin is passionate about teaching students the skills necessary to be independent learners and members of the community, and working with teachers and school staff in creating positive and safe learning environments.
